About us!

Ohio Riot- A D.I.Y. music and art collective started by Mike Defendant and friends in roughly 2010 in Springfield,Ohio. These days the collective is ran by Mike Defendant and Katrina Jo. Their main focus is hosting and promoting independent music, art and businesses. They do so by hosting events like their weekly open mic night at at Station 1 (Springfield,Ohio) every Thursday and various D.I.Y. events all over Ohio. They also help book and connect traveling bands with shows all over the country! They have independent artists like Haunted Movie Comix on board working hard to bring you the best hand drawn art for flyers, some promos and merch that they make themselves. They also have recorded and released albums in the past digitally and physically. They look forward to continuing to grow and to make more connections within the scene!
